Attach Data from another Project

Step 1 - Select how to add data

  • In Projects page locate the ACTIONS box at the top left corner.
  • Click on 'Add Data' to add a dataset to this project.

Next, you will be given two options. Either to 'Upload a file', or 'Attach a dataset from another project' such as the JAD Use cases project.

  • Click on the radio button, 'Attach a dataset from another project'.

Step 2 - Select a dataset to attach to your project

JADBio will now present you with a list of datasets in a tabular format.

  • Select your favorite dataset. (Note: You may have to search for it, or scroll down to see it.)
  • Click 'NEXT'.

Step 3 - Assign name and description

This opens the Assign name and a description window. Here, you are able to change your dataset's name and add a brief description for your dataset.

Your dataset's name should be between 3 to 60 characters long.

  • Click 'ATTACH' in order to add this dataset to your project.

In JADBio, you can rename datasets from the DATASET DETAILS sidebar.
